Type Of Release:
'Quik Calc' is hereby delievered into public domain. You as
the user may use this program any way you see fit.
Purpose:
The purpose of 'Quik Calc' is to provide a user with a quick
access to calculator functions from the DOS command line. I
was frequently aggrevated when doing some minor calculations,
reaching for the calculator and the cotton picking thing
wasn't there. This program is easy to use and access.
Installation:
There is no installation (per say) to worry about. I recommend
putting the Executable file CALC.EXE into your \TOOLS or
\UTILITIES directory, (or any other directory that has a path
to it).... That will allow you to call up 'Quik Calc' from
anywhere on your Hard disk, and then 'Quik Calc' will
terminate leaveing you in the same directory as when you
called it up.
Start-up:
No big deal here, If you have place the Executable file
(CALC.EXE) into a pathed directory, you can simply type calc
at any dos prompt to bring up the screen.... Useing the (Esc)
key at anytime in the program returns you to the Dos command
line right where you left off...
USEAGE:
'Quik Calc' is used similar to your everyday 10 Key
calculator. After every figure you enter you must use a
operand such as +, -, x, /..... Or any of the memory
functions.
It has all of the normally recognized features such as Clear
numbers, Add to memory, Subtract from Memory, Answer/Figure
swap.... etc etc etc...
There is a operational "Help" screen available from the
calculator screen explaining it's functions.... Simply hit (H)
to view the help screens....
There is not much to say about it's operation. Simply keep in
mind the operation of the "10 Key", and you should get used to
this program in no time....
CAUTIONS:
The Author makes no claims as to this program's ability to
preform any particular task. Nor do I assume any
responsibility for problems ariseing from the use of this
program. The user agrees to use this program entirely at his
own risk, and accepts this program as is..... If you do not
accept these terms as specified, stop right here and delete
this program from your machine...
